Reference Medicine’s own Zoran Gatalica and Semir Vranić have been recognized on Elsevier's 2024 list of top-cited scientists,1 placing them in the top 2 percent of cited scientists globally.
Elsevier’s ranking “is based on the top 100,000 scientists by c-score (with and without self-citations) or a percentile rank of 2% or above in the sub-field,” according to Elsevier, and the company’s publicly available database of top-cited scientists “provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions, and a composite indicator (c-score).”
“We are incredibly grateful to have such talented individuals on our team, driving impactful research and inspiring others in the field,” said Reference Medicine’s CEO, Inga Rose. “The fact that they are among the top two percent of globally cited scientists speaks to their deep industry knowledge and reflects the dedication to the pursuit of scientific innovation that is the cornerstones of our philosophy.”
